Shawon and Leanna Harris

Over the past few months I have had the honor of working with such an amazing couple, Shawon and Leanna. We first started off on a chilly windy morning to capture some awesome engagement photos. Shawon and Leanna were both troopers and went everywhere with me with a smile. :) Then I did bridals of Leanna and her mom came along... she was a FABULOUS assistant I might add. Shawon and Leanna tied the knot on June 4, 2011 at the Jones AT&T Stadium in the suites. Shawon and Leanna are both Texas Tech grads and reside in Lubbock, TX. I wish them many many many years of happiness.

I'M GETTING MARRIED!!

I would like to officially announce to all my clients that I am getting married on July 3, 2011. I will be "off"  from July 1st until July 17th. I am marrying a Shallowater man, Jordan Daniel Rackler. He is a farm boy from a small town that is a proud daddy to a little guy that is just 10 months older than my daughter. Brooklyn and Justin love each other BUT they are a HANDFUL. I will be locating to Shallowater, TX but will be shooting in Lubbock and surrounding communities. I look forward to many years with my new family. I love my new sister in law, Stephanie and her husband Brandon. They have 3 beautiful kiddos but they live so far away in the Houston area. My new in laws are Cindy and Steve Rackler, they also live in Shallowater and we attend the First Baptist Church of Shallowater. 

I have been asked if my business name will change and as of right now I do not believe it will. It will stay JRN photography since that is how I am known. I appreciate all my clients and love the word of mouth and hope that continues. I have a referral program in effect: Refer 5 NEW clients receive an additional $25 in print credit toward a NEW session.

I know, I know, I know!!!

I keep telling myself and everyone else I am going to do a better job at keeping up. "How hard can blogging once a night be?!!" right?? Well for a single mom, student, and running this business all by myself... can be HARD. And now I wont be single as of July 3, 2011. I am marrying the greatest man on this Earth and he also has a son full time that is 10 months older than my princess. So I now have my hands full times 2!! I love it, but boy it can be tough. I am blessed to get to stay home and run my business and "play" with the kiddos... more like play referee. :) So with my life quickly changing along with keeping up with ALL of my fabulous clients on facebook and keeping my website up to date (which needs to be done) blogging kinda falls off. So I apologize, and once again I am vowing to KEEP UP WITH THE BLOG!!!
